The second and smaller mask was made on top of the actor's life mask. This way, the bigger one will suit better to his face. I've painted it black because since the bigger mask is distant from his face, it's uncomfortable for him to look straight forward without being "distracted" by the inside of the mask. Well, ... it's uncomfortable for me but I'm not an actor, and really, the inside texture is cool to look at. Well, ... what the heck, probably I've just done it this way because now I can have a post untitled "paint it black".
A segunda máscara menor foi criada sobre um modelo em gesso do rosto do actor. Desta forma, a máscara maior vai acomodar-se melhor ao seu rosto. Pintei-a de preto porque como a máscara maior encontra-se distante da face do actor, é desconfortável para este olhar em frente sem "distrair-se" com o interior da máscara. Bem, ... é desconfortável para mim mas eu não sou um actor, e é verdade que o textura interior é interessante de se ver. Bem, ... provavelmente apenas a fiz deste modo porque agora posso ter um post intitulado "paint it black".
