A few days ago, Lynne Chapman celebrated her birthday. As a perfect selfish guy I've bought myself 3 of her books. And they are really great, especially after seeing the make off. Congrats!!!

Never thought about visiting second hand furniture stores to buy books, but after walking around Guarda city and never finding a second hand bookstore I just entered this store and for my delight I've found a small cardboard box with some treasures.
By the way, ... the owner told me that is normal to buy the furniture to their owners with everything inside included. Don't forget to check the second hand furniture stores next to you!
Nunca pensei visitar uma loja de mobília em segunda mão em busca de livros, mas depois de andar às voltas na cidade da Guarda sem encontrar um único alfarrabista acabei por entrar numa, e para meu deleite encontrei uma caixa de cartão canelado com alguns "tesoiros".
Já agora, ... o dono da loja contou-me que é frequente comprar a mobília aos seus donos com todo o recheio incluído. Não esqueçam portanto de visitar essas lojas de mobília em segunda mão perto de vocês!

nice new book acquisitions
On my passage trough Guarda city I've found this book for just 1€. I already have a Ian Curtis one and the cool part about these books is that they sell like being poetry books but are in fact the lyrics written by those people. Although they kinda might look like poetry they are in fact lyrics so stop calling them like so... even thought lyrics could be sometimes a very specific kind of poetry, bla, bla, bla, ...
Nevertheless they are a great compilation just because you can find here a bunch of unfinished or unreleased lyrics. Better yet the portuguese translation is a joke.
Na minha passagem pela cidade da Guarda encontrei este livro por apenas 1€. Já possuo um de Ian Curtis e o interessante é que estes livros são vendidos como se de poesia se tratassem mas são no entanto as letras escritas pelos mesmos. Ainda que se assemelhem a poesia são de fato letras por isso deixem de lhe chamar isso... ainda que algumas letras possam por vezes ser uma forma bastante específica de poesia, bla, bla, bla, ...
Contudo são uma ótima compilação porque podem-se encontrar aqui uma série de letras inacabadas e nunca editadas. Melhor ainda, a tradução para português é uma verdadeira anedota.

I've moved to my place two years ago but I never managed to rearrange and organize my books. Between books, comics, magazines or copies you'll loose yourself. The most interesting thing might be the second picture, my drawing books that I visit again and again to steel ideas from myself. Unfortunately I'm unable to scan them all and in my recent years I've started to use assorted papers instead of books (third picture)... bad move there.
Se estiveres à procura de um estágio em arquivos e bibliotecas és bem-vindo a minha casa... hehehe.
Mudei-me para o meu espaço há dois anos mas nunca tive tempo de reorganizar os meus livros. Entre livros, bandas desenhadas, revistas e fotocópias perdes-te. O mais interessante pode ser visto na segunda imagem, os meus livros de rascunho ou diários gráficos como têm vindo a ser apelidados, que eu visto diversas vezes para roubar ideias a mim próprio. Infelizmente sou incapaz de os digitalizar a todos e nestes anos recentes tenho vindo a usar papéis soltos em vez de livros (terceira imagem)... má ideia.
