More than 10 years later I'm making another try on ceramics. Since that time at Soares dos Reis School learning it for just one year, I just played around once and awhile with clay but never thought I was going to mess with it once more.
In a few hours I'll be with filthy hands once again learning it... let's see.

The following pictures are from the string puppet being currently built for 'Bzzzoira Moira'. It has been made using the principles shown by Waldo S. Lanchester in his book published by Dryad Press named 'Hand Puppets and String Puppets'.

The puppets for this amazing Wilhelm Golding text (Lord of the Flies) had its construction directed by enVide neFelibata, Marta F. da Silva and Sérgio Moras. They were built by the mentioned above with the help of so many more at 'Descalças Cooperativa Cultural'.

metal bodys [Benilde Bzzzoira]
We've just bought some old metal objects that will be used to build 'Benilde Bzzzoira' puppets. The third photo shows some of them already sliced into smaller parts.

'Bzzzoira Moira' preview
This is the first picture being published from the 'Bzzzoira Moira' set. The photo is by Filipa Alexandre and here you can preview how the conjugation of different boxes will work.
It's an oratory look alike with the top piece articulated by hinges. The 'Let There Be ...' illustrations will be placed here.

These odd looking foot had his toes sawed off in order to fit his traditional wood and leather shoes commonly known as clogs (socas). And what a fit...

buckets [Bzzzoira Moira]
We've been looking for these buckets at several stores and we ended up building our owns. They are 6cm tall and poorly detailed for its old looking style.
