After a few weeks of being away from the keyboard, I leave you all here some works in progress made in sponge intended for workshops with kids.

random crumpled paper

Following the random seeding theory we're creating here, I post two pictures of randomly, as random as I can, crumpled paper. It would be rather interesting to see your work being created from one of this two pictures. I'll try out something myself. If you accept the defy and consider sending me the results please refer which picture you've used as seed since they can grown in so particular ways that they can't anyway resemble it's seed.

snow queens throne [Rainha das Neves]

Here is the Snow Queen throne beeing built and the respective queen with her brush shaped sceptre.

By the way, ... that's the 'queens' face on plaster on both sides of the throne.

 

 

aguaplast [Rainha das Neves]

The main object on this set is the Snow Queen throne. It's mainly built out of polystyrene, mdf and platex and covered by a past named aguaplast. Aguaplast is presented in powder or already prepared and ready to use. I do prefer to mix my own since that way you can control the amount of water in the mixture depending of the technique used to apply it, a brush or a spatula. You can even mix some colour or even glue, yet I'm not an engineer to understand what kind of pigments should be used since its PH could mess up the aguaplast integrity and consistence.
You can find an entire suite of this product at drug-stores.

scale model [Rainha das Neves]

Here's a model built roughly at a scale 1/20. The main stage is now bigger with 13 per 6 meters. Some of stage irregularity will be lost for safety reasons.
